A Japanese-inspired, charcoal-and-woodfire restaurant in the heart of Berlin

Stoke is a restaurant with a deep appreciation for the tradition and craft of Japanese cuisine. We welcome guests for dinner to enjoy our set menu, either at the kitchen counter or our dining tables.
food
At the heart of Stoke is yakitori. Our set menu is comprised of four skewers cooked directly over binchotan charcoal and served with rotating seasonal dishes. For guests wanting to sample more, optional add-on dishes bring choice to dinners at Stoke. Add-ons represent rarer cuts from the butchered bird as well as offerings beyond yakitori. The menu changes daily depending on seasonality and market availability.

the story
Stoke is the expression of a vision shared between three friends, Jeffrey Claudio, Jessica Tan, and Niklas Harmsen, that borrows from what we love most about eating in Japan and makes those ideas at home in Europe.
